The School Day - Timings

Children may come in from 8.30am to undertake activities in their classroom. At Dundale we meet the DfE directive of 32.5 hours per week. 

Nursery                       

Morning session              9.00 - 12.00

Lunch Club                   12.00 - 12.45 

(extra cost £5.00 per day, either own packed lunch or order Herts Catering lunch for extra cost)

Early Drop off                8.35 - 9.00

(extra cost £3.00 per day)

Reception         

Soft Start                     08.35 - 08.45

Morning session              08.35 - 12.00

Lunch break                 12.00 - 13.00

Afternoon session         13.00 - 15.10

KS1/2 Y1-Y6     

Soft Start                    08.30 - 08.45   

Morning session             08.45 - 12.15

Morning Break              10.30 - 10.45

Lunch break                   12.15 - 13.15

Afternoon session        13.15 - 15.15

 

Children are not released until collected by a known person.  No-one under the age of 16 is allowed to collect.  Any changes to collection need to be communicated with the school office in advance. 

Children in Year 5 and Year 6 may walk home on their own if permission is given by parents.
